I can’t do yoga. I’m not flexible enough!
You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga. But yoga will help you become more flexible. You simply start where you are and go from there. Never pushing yourself, just listening and gently challenging, learning to be comfortable with where you are.
Why do I find it so hard to meditate?
If you have a lot going on in your life, if your head is FULL of harried and distracting thoughts, it’s hard to quiet those thoughts. This is why we call the practice of yoga and meditation a discipline. It takes some work. And it takes time to TRAIN your mind to be still. Go slow. Have patience with yourself. A good place to start is by focusing on your breath. This is meditating.
What do I need to start?
Nothing!
Only your smile and a good positive attitude will be fine!
