NICE TO MEET YOU..

Hi, I’m Jacine. I’m a certified yoga instructor, meditation leader,
healer and lover of all things magical.

Over the years, my teaching has moved into a style that focuses on releasing and healing while challenging the whole body, to fully engage you. My yoga classes are a mix of gentle stretching postures balanced with strengthening and powerful ones. The goal: to create flexibility AND stability, fostering connection and balance. Grounded in my love of anatomy, I want you to be aligned at all times, to ensure safety on and off the mat. I want to get you out of your head and into your body so you can really feel what is going on with you TODAY.

As a healer, I use yoga, meditation and visualization to move energy through the body to create a shift in your being, almost like a reset so you’re more aligned with yourself. When we are feeling our best and feeling grounded, we can move into a place of balance. Living your life from this place, a place of calm and feeling centred, is a beautiful place to be.

When I’m not on the mat I like to soothe my soul by escaping in a good book, ground myself by working in the garden, express myself creatively through writing, or have fun creating nourishing meals, herbal teas, treats and pure personal care balms in the kitchen.

FINDING MY WAY..

Ever since I was a young child I’ve had a connection to the mystical world – angel and spirit guides and the ability to sense another realm. This never frightened me. I just thought it was something everyone was able to do. I also believe that when things happen in my life, they happen as opportunities to learn and grow from. I believe that things are happening for a reason, like a “wake up call” I may not be paying attention to. 

My journey with yoga began in this way. My husband and I with our young family were in a car accident – a pretty serious one. Everyone but myself came out of the accident unharmed. I had a really bad case of whiplash although the severity of the accident should have left us far more injured. This was my wake up call. After two years of rehab and still feeling a pinched nerve in my neck which led to a numbness down my arm, it was suggested that I try a yoga class. After just one class I noticed a sense of relief down my arm. After a few more classes I noticed a huge improvement and after a few months I realized my pain was gone! This is what yoga could do for me? Why didn’t anyone tell me about this before? Studying yoga was a natural step for me and here we are today. 

Through the years, yoga helps take me beyond events happening in my life to understanding how they create the person I am.  My journey with living a life of yoga began with a calling to stop and listen. When we’re able to do this, we’re better able to listen to messages coming through.
